Professor Tien-Shih Lin was born in Taipei in 1934,He was the renowned artist of the illustrative drawings of the series of Chinese Classical Poetry Stamps.He has exhibited and Lectured on his works for more than 30 years in some famous universities domestic and abroad .A lot of his masterpiecs are being housed by the National Museum as works of great national value.He won the Cultue Medal and the Postal Medal of the Government in 1983.hewas also conferred the Honorable Culture Medal by Austria in 1986 in Vienna.
